IPMA level A
- IPMA Level A: Certified Project Manager
The candidate operates in a very complex project environment that has a strategic impact on the organization.
Entry requirements: Over the past 12 years, the applicant must demonstrate at least 5 years of experience as a project manager in a responsible leadership role in very complex projects, of which at least 3 years at the strategic management level.
In the case of IPMA-A certification, it is not possible to extend the above period to more than 12 years, from which the applicant has experience.
- IPMA Level A: Certified Program Director
The candidate works in a highly complex programming environment that has a strategic impact on the organization.
Entrance requirements: the applicant must demonstrate over the last 12 years:
- at least 5 years of experience as a program manager in a responsible leadership role in very complex programs, of which at least 3 years at the strategic management level
or
- minimum 4 years of experience as a program manager in a responsible leadership role in very complex programs and minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager in a responsible leadership role managing very complex projects at a strategic level.
In the case of IPMA-A certification, it is not possible to extend the above period to more than 12 years, from which the applicant has experience.
- IPMA Level A: Certified Portfolio Manager
The candidate operates in a very complex portfolio environment that has a strategic impact on the organization.
Entrance requirements: the applicant must demonstrate over the last 12 years:
- minimum 5 years of portfolio management experience in a responsible leadership role in highly complex portfolios at a strategic level.
or
- minimum 4 years of experience as a portfolio manager in a responsible leadership role in very complex portfolios and minimum 3 years of experience as a project or program manager in a responsible leadership role, managing very complex projects or programs at a strategic level.
In the case of IPMA-A certification, it is not possible to extend the above period to more than 12 years, from which the applicant has experience.
The certificate is valid for 5 years. After this period, the certified manager can apply for an extension of the certificate for another 5 years. (Details on the Recertification page)
Pre získanie certifikátu IPMA stupeň A je potrebné:
1.krok: Vyplnenie dokumentov
- Objednávka na certifikáciu pre IPMA stupeň A – 1. časť ➢ po registrácii obdržíte emailom notifikáciu o registrácii.
- Následne ďalším emailom získate prístup do systému a podrobné inštrukcie pre nahratie ostatných dokumentov do vašej zložky.

- Objednávka k certifikácii IPMA stupeň A – 2. časť
- Formulár pre sebahodnotenie
- Odborný životopis
- Súhrnná správa– prehľad projektov s Prílohou na určenie zložitosti projektov
- Zadanie pre spracovanie Správy o projekte/ projektoch IPMA stupeň
- Na základe online registrácie a následného doručenia všetkých príloh na certifikáciu bude vystavená faktúra..
Dokumenty je potrebné vyplniť podľa pokynov v PPZ – Pokyny pre záujemcov a návodov uvedených priamo v šablónach.
2.krok: Vypracovanie Správy o projekte
Po kontrole a pripustení je uchádzač vyzvaný na vypracovanie Správy o projekte
3.krok: Osobný pohovor
Online certifikácia pre IPMA stupeň A
Certifikácia podľa IPMA® Level A sa vykonáva online ako individuálna skúška uchádzača vykonávaná dvoma virtuálne prítomnými hodnotiteľmi, ktorí preveria znalosti a spôsobilosti uchádzača:
- Rozšírený pohovor: rozhovor o Správe o projekte predloženej uchádzačom (alebo o skúsenostiach z iných projektov so zložitosťou primeranou úrovni praxe pre stupeň A) a ostatných spôsobilostiach v oblastiach „Perspektíva“, „Ľudia“ a „Postupy“ podľa ICB4/SPS4 (trvanie do 120 min).
